Shop With A Cop

The Police Department accepts donations for the Shop With A Cop program year-round. Checks or money orders made payable to the Round Lake Park Charitable Fund may be mailed to or dropped off at 215 E. Main Street, Round Lake Park, IL 60073.

Please help! Your support and donations will enable us to help even more children in the Round Lake Area who are in need of assistance. Please help make the children’s Christmas a little bit nicer for them!

National Night Out 

August 5th 2008 marked the 25th anniversary of the National Night Out campaign. 
The purpose of N.N.O is to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness as well as
strengthen the partnership between the police department and the community.

Attendance at this event was very encouraging and collectively we sent a message, to
those criminal elements in our society, that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

We held a bicycle rodeo at this event and also had a canine demonstration provided by
our two canine teams, with the help of a trainer from T.O.P.S. kennels, located in Grayslake Illinois.

Everyone attending had a good time and we look forward to next year's National Night
