Duties of the Village Clerk
In the Village of Round Lake Park, the Clerk attends all required meetings and keeps a full record of proceedings in the village journal. The Clerk also publicizes all village ordinances, either in the area newspaper or in pamphlet form. About the Village Clerk, Cindy Fazekas

Norma Nelson, Public Liaison & Deputy Collector
Norma has worked for the village since September of 1994. She moved to Round Lake Park with her parents in 1970 and attended W. J. Murphy Elementary School, John T. Magee Middle School, and Round Lake Senior High School. Norma and her high school sweetheart, Marty, were married in 1979 and moved to Round Lake Park in 1982 where they raised their two sons.

Cindy Fazekas, Village Clerk & Collector and Public Liason
Cindy Fazekas, her husband Alex and four children, became residents of Round Lake Park in 1998. Cindy served as Deputy Clerk from 2006 until May of 2011, when Mayor McCue appointed her as Village Clerk. In addition to this position she also works full-time in the office at the Village Hall.
