Duties of the Mayor
In the Village of Round Lake Park, the Mayor serves as the chief executive officer of the village and has supervision over the executive officers and employees of the village.

Linda has been a resident of Round Lake Park for more than 30 years, where she happily has raised two sons, Brian and Todd. She is a proud grandmother of Todd, Cheyenne and Allison. Linda enjoys annual vacations with her family.
Business Background:
Linda has been an employee of the College of Lake County for 20 years, where she is an Administrative Secretary to the Dean of Adult Basic Education. She is a CLC adjunct faculty member, instructing craft courses. Her teaching avocation extends to various schools and park districts.
Community Involvement:
Elected Trustee 2011-2013. While trustee, chaired the Human Resources & Community Outreach Committee and served as Chairman of Special Events. Also served on the Public Safety and Neighborhood Watch committees. Has served as Mayor of Round Lake Park since May, 2013.
Elected Village Clerk 1997-2011. While serving as Clerk, she earned her certification as a Registered Municipal Clerk as well as Certified Master Clerk status.
During her 14 year involvement, Linda was the Chairman for the Round Lake Park Summer Festival, where all proceeds benefited the local Shop with a Cop program. She has chaired the Christmas Tree Lighting, food and coats drives for the past 10 years.
As Mayor, currently serves on the following committees:

- 120 CPC (Corridor Planning Council)
