Raeanne has called Round Lake Park her home ever since 1983, when her family established R&M Auto Body on Main Sreet.  Working and growing up at her family's business inspired her to open her own business, Handmade Specialties, in 2005.

As an owner of a business, and as a resident in a developing downtown area, Raeanne has been an active member of Round Lake Park's festival committee and Main Street Committee.  She also serves as a member of the Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for the Animal Protection Association.

Raeanne graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Raeanne would like to work on the continued improvement on Round Lake Park's Main Street and draw new business to Rte 134.  "I have spent the majority of my life in Round Lake Park.  This is my home and I would like to continue to see it grown in a positive and financially responsible direction.  I strive to make this a community everyone can be proud to call their home, just as I do."
