Previous Committees:  Served on the Planning & Zoning Board from approx. 1989-1992.  Was appointed Trustee 1992-1993 and elected Trustee 1995-2006.  While Trustee, Jean chaired the Finance Committee.  Also served on the Planning, Zoning, Licensing & Ordinance Review committee as well as the Code Enforcement, Human Resources & Community Outreach and Public Works committees.  Served as Mayor of Round Lake Park from 2006-2013.  Appointed Trustee in 2013.

Community Involvement:  Past director of the Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, past member of Panther Pushers, and Leader of Cub Scout Pack 175.

Profession or Business:  Owner of The Pizza Place in Round Lake Park

Personal:  Born and raised in the Round Lake Area.  I have been a Round Lake Park resident since 1953.  After getting married, we lived in Wauconda about one year before building our current home in Round Lake Park.  Great Grandpa Sherman Davis and family moved here in the early 1870's  Great Grandpa Junge moved into Round Lake in the early 1900's.  They owned the creamery in Round Lake.  Grandpa Davis sold land from his farm in Round Lake Park to enable the railroad to come to this area in 1897.

Happily married to Thomas McCue since 1969.  Thomas is also a life long resident of Round Lake Park, moving here in 1947 (the year this Village was incorporated).  We raised three sons, Jeffrey, Gerald and Patrick and now have 11 grandchildren.  

Reasons to Serve as Trustee:  I want to see through the completion of projects started while I was serving as Mayor.
